Professional background

After graduating from NYU with a Masters of Social Work in 2014, I first worked at an inpatient drug and alcohol rehab clinic with those suffering from substance-use disorders.

I then served as a methadone clinic counselor helping combat opiate dependence, and most recently I worked at an outpatient psychotherapy clinic fighting anxiety, depression, and trauma.

My post-graduate training includes motivational interviewing (a proven technique to facilitate motivation and readiness for change), as well as psychodynamic psychotherapy at the highly-regarded National Institute for the Psychotherapies.
